Oakland Temple Abstract 24'' x 36''
Oils on cavnas
After doing a commission of the Oakland Temple, I wanted to do my own interpretation of the temple. The clouds represent the heavenly connection the temple has as a sacred refuge and house of the Lord on Earth. The buildings in the background represent the world and it's contrast with heaven. If the painting feels unfinished to you, it is intentional. We need to endure to the end of our lives' journey here on Earth so we can return to our Father in heaven.
